ROCKSPOSURE.....Be Heard

Baltimore’s Eye of All has been a part of the Rocksposure family since 2010, but the band has been hard at work since they made their first appearance on our site. 2011 is off to a great start for the band as they are fresh off the release of their self titled EP. With their sites set on hitting the road to support it, we couldn't think of a better way to recognize their efforts then to make them our March 2011 Artist of the Month.

What started in 2009 in the back room confines of an Irish Pub has grown into the rock powerhouse that is now known as Eye of All. Founding member and vocalist Michael Reisinger is the architect of the band and assembled guitarist Jeff Russell, bassist Nicholas Bernholz, and drummer Keith Lendza to round out the line-up. What started as a bar band has grown into a popular local Baltimore act that is actively trying to work their way into other markets. The band played the world famous Whisky A Go-Go in L.A. in 2010 and has opened for acts such as Taproot and Guns N Roses' GIlby Clark. In their eyes, this is just the beginning.

The self titled EP is exactly the brand of rock that Rocksposure has come to know from Eye of All. Hard rock is alive and well on the East Coast, and the five songs on “Eye of All” are proof, starting with the opening track “Looking Back at Me”, The band drops you into a heavy guitar filled intro which quickly transition into Reisinger’s deep vocals before getting into the songs full tempo. Vocally residing in the baritone range with a hint of raspyness, Reisinger’s voice is extremely well suited for hard rock and would best be compared to Sully Ema of Godsmack. You seldom hear a lead singer that can stay in this deep of a range but Reisinger does it quite well.

Eye of All continues the EP with their first single off of the album, “Reflections”. Rocksposure.com was one of the first to feature the single on our radio station and it has been one of our top played songs since it hit the airwaves in late January. This is the fastest paced song on the EP and opens with a quick beat from Lednza which is equally supported by Russell’s guitar. Not to be missed is Russell’s solo on “Reflections”, it’s the first instance that he truly cuts loose on the record and he does not disappoint.

“Mankind” gets it’s start from the coarsing thump of Bernholz’s bass. This is what I would describe as the band’s fight song as halfway through they seemingly count down to battle. It lyrically offers just a glimpse at the bands aggressive posture, and the music fits right along with it. “Better Days” and “No Control” carry on the looming tone and vocal growl that has become a signature of Eye of All. These two tracks do an excellent job rounding out the album.

Sometimes it’s the little things and attention to detail that can make or break a record, in this case I think Eye of All nailed it. They work some different vocal effects and great guitar solos in throughout the record, all of which are well placed. As the EP is officially out, the band has a big show with fellow Rocksposure Artist Rosabella on March 25th to support it.
