What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. When local bands Krysis and Downfire broke up, guitarist Darren (Krysis, DMF) contacted singer/guitarist Zach (Downfire) to start work on a new project.  After hearing some of his solo material, they asked Josh (Krysis, The Grimace) to join them on bass.and found a perfect fit in Dom (Idio-7, DryWater) on drums.

Between December 2008-March 2009, they entered the legendary Studio 210 with producer Rich Bickel to lay down a few songs. They made their live debut at Crododile Rock Cafe in Allentown, PA in December 2008, they have also played at legendary venues like The Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia, PA and Reeds Nightclub in Blue Bell, PA.

After a year of writing, and rehersing, Embrace Ruin will once again be entering Studio 210 to begin their full length debut album. Rich Bickel and Embrace Ruin will be co-producing the album which is slated for release summer 2010.
