BAND BIO
Not far from the banks of the Cumberland River, the hard rock 5-piece, 449, was born. In a one-stoplight town, more famous for its bluegrass music, there is one band that sets itself apart from all the rest. 449 has been making waves in the local and regional music scene for nearly three years; winning Nashville Metal Bands Band of the Month for May 2011, followed by 2011 Rocking for Reasons Battle of the Bands 1st Place.
449 has just released their much-anticipated debut album, The Art of Perception, produced in Barrick Studios by fellow Kentucky rockers Chris Robertson and Jon Lawhon of Black Stone Cherry. The first run of this CD sold out in less than 3 hours to fevered crowds at the CD Release Party.
449 has shared the stage with national acts including Black Stone Cherry, Sleeper Agent, and is now currently in the studio with Jon Lawhon and Chris Robertson both of the band Black Stone Cherry finishing up their full length debut album set to release in the summer of 2012. Check 449 out on Itunes to purchase their current EP, catch them at a show, and stay tuned for the full length album!
